The break-up of vacancies across different services is as follows:

• Junior Grade of Mizoram Civil Service: 14+1 (reserved for PwBD – Partially Deaf)
• Junior Grade of Mizoram Police Service: 8
• Junior Grade of Mizoram Finance & Accounts Service: 8
• Junior Grade of Mizoram Information Service: 3

Pay Scale

The selected candidates will be placed in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix, with a salary range of Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,24,500, as per the government’s pay structure.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Citizenship

• The candidate must be a citizen of India, as defined in Articles 5-7 of the Constitution of India.

2. Residency

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of Mizoram.

3. Age Limit

• The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years but should not have exceeded 35 years as of 1st August, 2025.
• Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of Mizoram norms.

4. Educational Qualifications

• The candidate must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree from:
  • A university incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature in India.
  • Any other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament.
  • Universities recognized under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
  • Foreign universities approved by the Central Government.

5. Language Proficiency

• The candidate must have working knowledge of the Mizo language, at least up to Middle School standard.

Selection Procedure

The selection process will be conducted in multiple stages as per the regulations of the Mizoram Public Service Commission:

1. Preliminary Examination:
   • A screening test to shortlist candidates for the main examination.
   • The syllabus for the preliminary examination will be available on the official website.
2. Main Examination:
   • Shortlisted candidates from the preliminary round will be required to appear for the main written examination.
3. Personal Interview:
   • Final stage of selection.
   • The interview panel will assess candidates based on their knowledge, communication skills, and overall suitability for the post.
4. Document Verification:
   • Candidates who qualify all stages will have to produce original documents for verification.
